Associate Principal

Matt is thrilled to be serving the Xavier community.  He was born and raised in Wyoming and took a middle school teaching position south of Denver after graduating from the University of Wyoming.  After 5 years of teaching, Matt dedicated his time to grad school at the University of Wisconsin Madison, earning his Master's in Educational Leadership and Policy.  He took a job as Principal of St. Mary's Catholic School in Janesville before getting married and moving to Appleton 2 years later, landing him at Xavier.  In his free time Matt loves being outside, especially to golf.  He is married to his wife, Katie, who teaches elementary school, and has a daughter, Annie, who was born in October of 2021.  He enjoys the excitement and opportunity that serving the Xavier community brings to him each day.
