XHS House System

Upon their arrival to XHS, students will randomly pick a house to join, which will act as a social support network for the next four years.  The entire student body will consist of four houses, with each house having six smaller mentor groups.  The 24 co-ed, multi-grade groups are all student-led and feature various competitions to promote camaraderie and teamwork.  The challenges consist of weekly participation opportunities (blood drives, supporting XHS fine arts, etc.) as well as physical and academic challenges.  The program aims to bring upper and lower classmen together as well as providing a faith-filled community of support from when freshmen enter the building on day one.
