Prayer & Sacraments

Prayer is an integral part of the Xavier experience.  Students experience prayer in a variety of ways:

• Prayer to begin school each morning
• Daily prayer at lunch
• Prayer during every class
• All-school prayer services led by students each Wednesday morning
• Theology class prayer services and other prayer experiences
• Monthly all-school Masses
• Mass at 7:15 am each Friday morning
• Eucharistic Adoration on first Fridays
• Rosary during X period each Thursday
• Sacrament of Reconciliation during Advent and Lent (plus opportunities by appointment)
• Stations of the Cross
• Athletic team prayers and prayer services
• Prayer with the crowd before football and basketball games
• Prayer at the conclusion of each school day
